Ready to bring your best?How You Will Make Contributions That Matter Drive cross-functionalcollaboration by leading coordination efforts among internalstakeholders (Research & Development, Marketing, Regulatory, QualityAssurance, Operations) and external partners (printers, suppliers,customers) to ensure seamless packaging execution. Oversee regulatorycompliance strategy for packaging, providing expert-level review ofnutrition labeling, imagery, and claims in accordance with FDA, USDA,and third-party certification standards (e.g., Non-GMO Project,Organic), as well as internal corporate policies. Analyze packagingprocesses and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reducewaste Manage multiple high-priority packaging projects from conceptto execution, ensuring timelines and budgets are met Monitor andinterpret evolving regulatory landscapes, industry trends, and technicalinnovations to proactively guide packaging strategy and ensure ongoingcompliance and competitiveness. Coordinate and manage all aspects ofproduction and procurement activities related to packaging changes,ensuring timely implementation, cost efficiency, and alignment withquality standards. Mentor and provide technical guidance to juniorpackaging team members and serve as a key resource and backup forcritical packaging functions across the organization. Overseeprojects around the design, development, and optimization of thepackaging for new or existing products. Participates in development ofproject tracking documents, timetables, and cost estimates. Providereview and final approval of packaging proofs according to regulations,plant requirements, print guidelines and brand standards. Managecontracts with key packaging vendors and ensure they are adhering to abalanced budget. Support the identification of cost savingsopportunities. Focus on the support for all Saputo plants. You arebest suited for the role if you have the following experience, skills,and qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Management,Packaging Design, or equivalent experience of 5+ years (Food IndustryPackaging/Labeling preferred). Highly organized and meticulous withdetails. Practiced knowledge of SAP and Add-Ons preferred. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Strong andproficient in Microsoft Office toolset (Microsoft Word and MicrosoftExcel). Enjoys working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Up to 10% travel required.
