FTE: 1.000000 Standard Hours: 40.00 Shift: Shift 1 Shift Details:Holidays: Weekends: Job Summary: Provides day to day supervision andcoordination of assigned staff and activities that support thedepartment(s). Oversees medical assistant, LPN and schedulingcoordinator team(department specific). Responsible for departmentalregulatory compliance, quality and performance improvement, and customersatisfaction. Monitors operational and performance metrics and assiststhe department leadership team with execution of enterprise levelprograms and initiatives. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: A minimum of 3 yearsof Medical Assistant or LPN experience in related ambulatory setting isrequired. Experience leading teams (formal or informal) inprofessional/clinical area is required. Formal leadership experiencepreferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: High School diploma or equivalent isrequired. In addition, individuals must meet one (1) of the followingcombinations of education: A.) A graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHESaccredited Medical Assistant Program (Associate, Diploma orCertificate). B.) A graduate of a non CAAHEP or ABHES Medical Assistantprogram (Associate, diploma, or Certificate) or Military Medic/Corpsmantraining. In addition to education, one (1) year of formal on the jobMedical Assistant experience preferred. C.) Currently possess and are ingood standing with at least one of the following credentials: a.)Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). b.) Registered Medical Assistant(RMA) c.) Assessment Based Recognition in Order Entry (ABROE) d.) CCMACertified Clinical Medical Assistant. D) Graduate of an accreditedSchool of Practical Nursing is required. TRAINING DESCRIPTION: AHEmembership and/or CHESP accreditation is preferred. Six Sigma Green Beltcertification is preferred. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Advancedknowledge of clinic operations is required. Demonstrates analytical andorganizational skills along with problem solving, critical thinking, andconflict management/resolution skills. Demonstrates integrity,independent thinking, judgment and respect for others. Exhibitsinitiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership. Strongcommunication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office,EPIC, Kronos, SharePoint and database management is preferred. LICENSUREDESCRIPTION: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Graduate of an accreditedMedical Assistant Program (Associate, Diploma or Certificate) isrequired.
