This jobis ON - SITE. $5,000 sign on bonus FTE: 1.000000 Standard Hours: 40.00Shift: 4 Shift Details: Monday - Friday 8 am - 6 pm, alternatingweekends and some holidays Job Summary: Provides technical and clericalassistance to the pharmacist in the processing of medication orders andthe monitoring of drug therapy. May procure, measure, compound, count,and deliver medications under the supervision of a pharmacist. Functionswithin the guidelines of the Wisconsin Statutes and AdministrativeCode - Pharmacy Examining Board - Pharmacy Practice Sections. EXPERIENCEDESCRIPTION: A minimum of 1 year of work experience in a hospitalpharmacy department is preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: High Schooldiploma or equivalent is required. Graduate of an accredited pharmacytechnician training program is preferred. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:Application for Wisconsin registration as a Pharmacy Technician isrequired by hire date and must be obtained within 12 months of hire.Staff hired into this role prior to 3/31/23 must have applied forWisconsin registration by 3/31/23 and have until 3/31/24 to obtainregistration. Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) throughpassing the Pharmacy Technician Certification Boards exam (PTCE) or theNational Healthcareer Associations exam (ExCPT) is preferred.
