We're looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Chemotherapy Infusion Center (CIC) team in Boise Our St. Lukeu2019s Cancer Institute (SLCI) clinics are dynamic, full-service outpatient hematology/oncology treatment centers offering chemo/bio/and radiation therapies. Patients and their families have trusted St. Lukeu2019s Cancer Institute for more than 50 years for advanced, compassionate care for cancer blood disorders. Today we are a network of five cancer centers dedicated to state-of-the-art treatment close to home; patient-centered care and support; cutting-edge research; and community prevention, education, and early detection initiatives. St. Lukeu2019s holds a Commission on Cancer (CoC) cancer program accreditation - this is a quality program of the American College of Surgeons which demonstrates a cancer programu2019s commitment to providing high-quality, multidisciplinary, patient-centered cancer care. What You Can Expect: Full-time (0.9 FTE) Schedule: day shift, 4 x 9u2019s Rotating holiday schedule: 1 holiday a year (St. Lukeu2019s observes 6 major holidays) The Chemotherapy Infusion Center (CIC) RN provides hands on nursing care for the oncology population by administering high-risk medications such as chemotherapy and immunotherapy in the CIC Our Boise CIC location has 24 chemo chairs/beds and is open from 0630-1800 The CIC also administers blood products, fluids, and injections Cross train to other departments in oncology Sign-on bonus eligible for new hires Certification pay available (ex. OCN) Magnet designated Qualifications: Education: Nursing Degree Experience: One (1) + yearsu2019 RN experience Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross Preferred: Oncology experience, OCN certification, and/or ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy certification At St. Lukeu2019s, caring for people in the communities we serve is our mission - and this includes our own SLHS team.
