Description: Job Description The Transition to Production (T2P) Production Operations Manager will serve as the central liaison for all development programs under the RF Sensor Product Center during the critical transition from engineering development into production. The candidate will partner with both our programmatic teams and the factories supporting them to drive alignment on processes, tools, and metrics as it relates to production readiness and ability to ramp. This role ultimately ensures that all RFS PC programs adopt a consistent methodology that aggressively transitions them into a highu2011volume environment without delay or interruption. Basic Qualifications: -Minimum 10 years experience working in a production environment - Previous participation in production ramp of complex electrical/mechanical/optical systems -Deep understanding of principles associated with capacity modeling and planning -Experience in capital planning, acquisition, and execution -Must be able to obtain a security clearance -Must be able to travel (typically monthly) Desired Skills: -Experience in construction and certification of new classified manufacturing spaces -Familiarity with and previous participation in Manufacturing Readiness Assessments -Fluent in Process Modeling (ex: Simio) -Ability to build multi-year complex integrated master schedules Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
