Dry Dock Helper

Must have the following in order to apply:- High School Diploma or equivalent- Understanding of HAZHOPER and HAZWAPER rules and regulations- Knowledge of Gas Freeing, pumping liquids, block setting and docking proceduresRequired Screenings:Will be discussed with applicant; Drug Free Workplace.Job Description:The Dry Dock Helper ensures that the proper tools, equipment and manpower are prepared prior to dry dock operations.FUNCTIONS:- Performs dry dock and maintenance work.- Duties may include cleaning, washing and painting vessels, lubricating parts and others.- Operating forklift for shifting blocks and other equipment for docking vessels.- Ensures the safety rules and regulations are being followed in all work.- Collaborate with the foremen on materials and equipment status.- Work in confined spaces.- Use, select and install conventional and nonconventional fall protection equipment.- Perform all other duties as assigned.Work Environment:Will be discussed with applicant.Hiring Process:Apply via company order to apply to this position, please click
