Machine Operator

Job Title: Machine Operator Job Description As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating a hose cutting machine, ensuring precision and quality. You will scan barcodes, measure hoses for accuracy using a tape measure, and manually attach couplings. You'll use scanners and computers to maintain correct job operations, with the machine pre-programmed for accuracy. The role involves producing 2,400-2,500 hoses daily, with an individual responsibility of 200-800 hoses depending on size. You will primarily work with larger cutting machines, requiring physical capability to manage larger hoses. Pay ranges from $17-18/hr Responsibilities + Operate hose cutting machines efficiently and accurately. + Scan barcodes and verify hose measurements using a tape measure. + Attach couplings to hoses by hand. + Use scanners and computers to ensure correct job execution. + Monitor machines for quality and accuracy. + Produce between 200 to 800 hoses daily, depending on their size. + Work with larger cutting machines, requiring physical capability to reach higher and handle larger hoses. Essential Skills + 1+ years of machine operation experience. + 1+ years of experience in a production facility. + Proficiency in reading a tape measure. + Experience with machine operation and general labor. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with forklifts is advantageous. + Skills in production and assembly are beneficial. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work on the 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, in a clean production facility with approximately 30 team members. The environment is supportive and values its people. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.
