Briarcliff Animal Hospital-Kennel Assistant

VCA Briarcliff is seeking an experienced Full-Time Kennel Assistant (Animal Care Assistant) to work at our AAHA-accredited, 8-doctor practice in Atlanta, Georgia. Must be a motivated self-starter who is able to take direction and work with minimal supervision. Dependable attendance and transportation is required. Experience in a veterinary or boarding facility is preferred but will train the right person. A positive attitude, strong attention-to-detail, and the ability to multi-task are a must. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: u2022 Cleaning cages. u2022 Feeding and caring for dogs and cats. u2022 Walking dogs. u2022 Bathing dogs. u2022 Doing laundry. u2022 Cleaning and maintaining hospital premises. u2022 Assisting Doctors and Technicians when necessary. u200b At least two Sundays per month are mandatory to check on pets in boarding while the hospital is closed.
