Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Computer Operator / CAD Technician / Report Writer to support Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) operations. The role involves preparing technical drawings, processing inspection data, and producing accurate NDT reports in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements. Key Responsibilities: NDT Reporting & Documentation + Prepare, format, and issue NDT inspection reports (UT, RT, MT, PT, VT, PAUT, TOFD, etc.) + Compile inspection data received from NDT technicians and inspectors + Ensure reports comply with applicable standards (ASME, AWS, ISO, API, ASTM, etc.) + Maintain accurate records, logs, and databases of inspection results + Review reports for completeness, accuracy, and consistency before submission CAD & Technical Drawings + Prepare and update CAD drawings, sketches, and isometric views for NDT inspection locations + Mark inspection points, weld numbers, defect locations, and scan coverage on drawings + Revise drawings based on field changes and inspection findings + Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, and clients for drawing clarification Computer Operations & Data Handling + Operate NDT software and reporting tools (as applicable) + Manage digital files, backups, and document control systems + Convert handwritten field notes into professional digital reports + Handle basic data analysis, tables, and charts for inspection results Coordination & Compliance + Coordinate with NDT technicians, Level II/III inspectors, and project engineers + Ensure timely submission of reports in line with project schedules + Maintain confidentiality of inspection data and client information + Support audits and quality control reviews when required Qualifications & Requirements: Education + Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Drafting, Computer Applications, or related field + Certification or training in CAD (AutoCAD or similar) preferred Experience + Minimum 1u20133 years experience in NDT reporting, CAD drafting, or technical documentation + Experience in oil & gas, fabrication, construction, or industrial inspection projects preferred Technical Skills + Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software + Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PDF tools + Familiarity with NDT methods and terminology + Ability to read engineering drawings and welding symbols Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas of the Company.
