Job Description Powell is an engineered to order manufacturer of switchgear and electrical equipment for the power generation industry. A Senior Assembler is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the assembly process of various products. Four 10s Schedule: Monday-Thursday 2:30pm-1:00am A Senior Assembler is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the assembly process of various products. They work closely with a team of assemblers to ensure that products are assembled correctly and efficiently, meeting quality standards and production deadlines. The Senior Assembler may also provide guidance and training to junior assemblers, troubleshoot any assembly issues, and assist in the development and improvement of assembly procedures. They play a crucial role in maintaining a smooth assembly process and ensuring the overall quality of the finished products. Supervision None Essential Responsibilities u2022Build and assemble mechanical components for Switchgear and/or Breaker units according to engineering drawings and customer specifications. u2022Perform maintenance and proper use of tools. u2022Perform in process inspections; ensure quality by following standard work instructions and identifying any potential risks to product quality. u2022Lead team members on all aspects of ship prep u2022Assist in training employees u2022Perform Root Cause Analysis on engineering changes and correct discrepancies u2022Identify and track shortages u2022Assist in processing ship loose and communicate to QA/QC u2022Lead a small team of employees to complete a specific task assigned by lead assembler and/or supervisor u2022Perform final
