Extensive experience with core software applications. u2022 Direct hands-on experience with ad hoc query programs, automated testing tools, and reporting software. u2022 Experience with statistical reporting and analysis. Reports to Application Development Manager or Director. The Quality Assurance Analyst's role is to develop and establish quality assurance standards and measures for the information technology services within the organization. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: u2022 Gather and analyze data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. u2022 Write test plans and scripts for tracking defects and fixes in product development, software application development, information systems, and operations systems. u2022 Develop and establish quality assurance measures and testing standards for new development and enhancements. u2022 Create and execute test plans and scripts that will determine application quality. u2022 Communicate test progress, test results, and quality of application changes. u2022 Analyze test results to discover and report out on defects. u2022 Work with business community to plan and execute UAT. u2022 Assist in environment setup and management in preparation for test execution.
