All labels and medications are inspected by a pharmacist prior to being delivered. + Fills Floor Stock and Controlled Substances requests under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. + Delivers supplies and medications to other departments as needed. + Re-packages bulk forms of medications into unit dose packaging. Completes accompanying records which are then co-signed by the inspecting pharmacist. + Orders, unpacks and stores supplies. Ensures all items are verified against invoice before being stored. + Compiles outdated medications through monthly inspection of Pharmacy, and returns to appropriate vendor. + Performs Quality Improvement activities as directed. + Performs other duties as requested.
