Job Summary Compass Group North America is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Sr. Financial Analyst to support financial reporting and lead key departmental initiatives. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate, timely financial information while driving projects that enhance reporting processes, systems, and controls across a large, complex organization. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting u2022 Prepare, review, and analyze recurring financial and management reports used by Accounting, Finance leadership, and business partners u2022 Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including account reconciliations and variance analysis u2022 Ensure financial data integrity, consistency, and compliance with IFRS and Compass Group accounting policies u2022 Serve as a subject matter resource for reporting-related questions and analysis u2022 Support internal and external audit requests related to reporting and documentation u2022 Analyze trends and variances and provide insights and recommendations to support business decision-making Department Projects & Process Improvement u2022 Lead and manage accounting and finance-related projects, including reporting enhancements, system implementations, process standardization, and automation initiatives u2022 Partner with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Foodbuy, and IT to define requirements, timelines, and deliverables u2022 Assist with documentation of accounting processes, internal controls, and standard operating procedures u2022 Identify and drive opportunities to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and support scalability across the organization u2022 Support implementation and adoption of new processes and tools through documentation, communication, and knowledge sharing Ad Hoc Analysis & Business Support u2022 Provide advanced ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions and leadership requests u2022 Develop presentations, dashboards, and reporting materials for leadership and corporate stakeholders u2022 Stay current on IFRS standards, Compass Group policies, and evolving business requirements Qualifications u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting or Finance u2022 CPA certification or candidate preferred u2022 5+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, accounting, or audit u2022 Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI/reporting tools strongly preferred u2022 Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar) u2022 Prior experience supporting audits or enterprise-level reporting environments u2022 Experience working in a large, decentralized, or multi-unit organization u2022 Proven ability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities independently u2022 Experience delivering presentations to senior management and department customers Core Competencies u2022 Strong accounting knowledge with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills u2022 Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy u2022 Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a deadline-driven environment u2022 Ability to manage high volumes of work and competing priorities u2022 Excellent verbal and written communication skills u2022 Strong organization and planning skills u2022 Ability to foster solid business partnerships across multiple disciplines u2022 Collaborative team-oriented mindset u2022 Food industry experience is a plus Apply to Compass Group today Click here to Learn More about the Compass Story ( Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
