Job Title: Lathe Machinist Job Description You will be operating one or two Hardinge lathe machining centers to produce aerospace and medical parts. This role involves inspecting parts using basic inspection equipment and performing necessary documentation for ISO audits. Production runs typically range from 100 to 500 parts, requiring changeovers from one lathe machine to another. Ensuring tight tolerances and precise measurements is crucial. Responsibilities + Operate Hardinge lathe machining centers for production of aerospace and medical parts. + Inspect parts using basic inspection equipment and ensure compliance with ISO standards. + Perform necessary documentation for ISO audits. + Conduct changeovers between lathe machines once production runs are completed. + Monitor machines and ensure precise measurements are maintained. Essential Skills + Technical degree and/or 2+ years of professional machining experience. + Previous experience operating CNC Lathe machines. + Ability to inspect own parts and read blueprints. + Proficiency with blueprint reading, micrometer, caliper, and machining parts. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with Hardinge IIISP, 42SP, and Fanuc controls is a plus. + Ability to fully set up machines for runs. Why Work Here?
