Medica is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to join ourActuarial Services team in Minnetonka, MN. This role provides analyticalsupport in the areas of pricing, forecasting, reserving, and financialreporting. Performs other duties as assigned. Key AccountabilitiesAssist in the preparation of financial models, pricing structures, andreserve estimates to support business decisions Perform data analysisand validation using actuarial and statistical techniques Contribute tothe development of reports, exhibits, and presentations for leadershipand regulatory bodies Support actuarial projects related to productdevelopment, trend analysis, and risk management Ensure accuracy andcompliance with actuarial standards, regulatory requirements, and Medicapolicies Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance,Underwriting, and Product Development Continue professional developmentthrough actuarial exams and on-the-job learning Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics,Economics, Finance, or related field 3 years of experience beyond degreeSuccessful completion of 3 Society of Actuaries (SOA) exams PreferredQualifications Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinkingskills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with SQL, SAS, R, orPython is a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Thisposition is an Office role, which requires an employee to work onsite,on average, 3 days per week. We are open to candidates located near oneof the following office locations: Minnetonka, MN, or Madison, WI. Thefull salary grade for this position is $70,200 - $120,400. While thefull salary grade is provided, the typical hiring salary range for thisrole is expected to be between $70,200 - $105,315..
