This job was posted by : For moreinformation, please see: OverviewAs a summer Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience workingat The Vermont Department of Financial Regulation in Montpelier,Vermont.We are seeking three interns who will either rotate through variousDepartments or have an opportunity for more direct contributory workwithin DFR's four Divisions:- Banking Division- Insurance Division- Captives Division- Securities DivisionIt's an opportunity to apply your educational insights and learning ina real-world regulatory work environment.The Interns will be responsible for various projects under the guidanceof Department leaders. The Internship will include job shadowing,reviewing regulatory rules, participating in consumer service processingof complaints, financial analysis and examination and the legal processof Financial Regulation.At the end of the internship, a final presentation will be given to themanagement team on a topic to be decided.Ideal candidates should be detail-oriented and well organized, have astrong desire to learn and apply knowledge and exhibit effectiveinterpersonal skills with a collaborative style.This is an in-person, paid internship opportunity, starting in June 2026and located in Montpelier, VT. We provide support required to obtaincollege credits if needed and permitted by your college/university.
