FTE: 1.00 Shift: Shift 1 Monday -Friday ten hour shifts with one day off per week. Rotational on callshifts to include weekend and holiday coverage Job Summary: Assistsphysicians with performance of interventional radiographic and relatedprocedures for diagnostic interpretation and/or therapeuticinterventions. Responsible for preparation, documentation of inventoryof materials, supplies and coding used for interventional radiologyservices. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: A minimum of 1 year of experience inan IR or Cath Lab setting or completion of the FMLH IR Internship ispreferred. Additional technical courses and experience with progressiveresponsibility and experience in IR/NR and or Cath Lab is preferred.EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Completion of (minimum) a 2-year, approved,program in Radiologic Technology is required. TRAINING DESCRIPTION:In-depth knowledge of the operation of interventional radiographic andrelated diagnostic and therapeutic equipment/supplies. SPECIAL SKILLSDESCRIPTION: Strong mainframe and PC skills. Excellent oral and writtencommunication skills. Good organizational skills. Strong analyticalskills. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: ARRT registered and current State ofWisconsin license as a Radiographer required. Advanced certificationthrough ARRT in ARRT-CI or ARRT-CV or ARRT-VI is required within 12months of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support forthe Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is requiredwithin three months of hire.
