Billing SpecialistIn addition to the routine duties of the Billing Clerk) charge and payment posting, submission of insurance forms, maintenance of files and records, and answering charge and insurance related patient questions) this position is more involved in researching and documenting issues that depart form established procedures as well as following up on accurate receivable. May direct the work of some billing clerks ensuring that procedures are followed. High school diploma or equivalent and 2 yrs clerical support in a medical billing setting. Must be able to work independently with speed and accuracy, have strong interpersonal skills and have competency in position specific computer software applications. will consider equivalent combination pr education and experience.Work week: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm paid bi-weekly2 yrs medical billing experience preferred
