General Laborer

Job Title: General Laborer Job Description We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join our team. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with a one-hour lunch break or two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute break. There is flexibility to adjust start times earlier or later within reason. Responsibilities + Remove rust from large shipping containers using a hand-held grinder. + Strip and remove decals from the exterior of containers. + Utilize a small hand-held saw to clear debris as necessary. + Wash out containers with a pressure washer. + Remove flooring and floorboards from inside containers using a small hand saw. + Prepare containers for painting and perform spot painting with a brush as needed. + Utilize a hammer or sledgehammer to smooth out dents. + Pressure wash at 2300 PSI. Essential Skills + Experience in general labor, cleaning, and yard work. + Proficiency with hand tools, including hand saws and grinders. + Ability to operate power tools and perform minor assembly and carpentry tasks. + Familiarity with pressure washing and painting techniques. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with small hand tools. + Capability in decal removal and minor painting tasks. + Willingness to learn and be trained. + Team-oriented mentality. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr.
