Controls Engineer / All Levels

Currently searching for several permanent Controls Engineers for growing, expanding and reputable machine builders and Integrators throughout the Grand Rapids, Holland, Muskegon and Kalamazoo, MI areas. Have openings ranging from entry level to Lead Controls and Engineering Manager roles. Seeking Controls Engineers, Designers and Technicians with PLC programming, troubleshooting or Controls Design experience. Most of the positions require minimal travel. All these positions offer a variety of interesting projects in the controls automation industry for reputable companies.Responsibilities of the Controls Engineer- Provide electrical solutions for automation, process, assembly and/or material handling equipment- Design and program PLC and HMI software to meet requirements- Program, troubleshoot and modify automation machines, robotics and vision systems- Assist with start-up and technical support- Project Engineer whole systems from start to finishRequirements of the Controls Engineer- Bachelors of Electrical Engineering (BSEE) degree or Associates degree is preferred, but may not required with relevant experience- Experience programming PLC's and HMI's. All levels of Controls Engineering experience will be considered- Robotics programming experience is a plus- Allen Bradley and Siemens experience is preferred- SCADA experience is a plus- Experience AutoCAD or Solidworks Electrical is a plus- Experience integrating robotics, vision systems, hydraulics and pneumatics is a plus- Robotic programming is a plus- Able to work independently as well as within a team- High attention to detail and accuracy- Must be a US Citizen or have a Green CardCompensation and Benefits for the Controls Engineer position:- $70,000.00 to $140,000.00 / year- 401k match- Medical insurance- Paid holiday, vacation and personal days- Bonuses- Flexible schedule
