Shipping and Receiving Clerk - $18+/hr. Job Description As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, you will work from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, studying work orders, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods to meet schedules. Responsibilities + Enter data into the system as events occur to provide real-time information regarding material status, finished goods on hand, and product shipments. + Determine product identification, accuracy, and completeness of data and labeling requirements. + Inspect loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications and seal loaded truck doors. + Direct the movement of incoming and outgoing shipping and receiving to designated storage and work areas. + Track records of unfilled orders. + Post weight and shipping charges. + Prepare bills of lading.
