The Facilities Off-site Manufacturing Coordinator at Micron Technology, Inc., is responsible for working directly with the ID1 design, construction, and fab layout team. The outcome of the collaboration is expected to generate an Off Site Manufacturing plan that will enable layout and mitigate labor concerns for the project. Our new ID1 facility will be entirely focused on the fabrication of the latest in High-Bandwidth Memory and storage technology, making it one of the most advanced semiconductor facilities in the United States We are the main contact for all tool install construction activities for ID1 as well as all OSM activities. Initially, will be providing construction and OSM oversight for the ID1 project for all fields, working with the design team on layouts, equipment specifications, design for maintainability and potential outsourcing options. Responsibilities + Reviews and applies job hazard analysis (JHA/JSA) for work being performed + Supports risk and/or failure mode and effects analysis + Follows all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws including PPE, COHE (lockout /tagout) and chemical safety + Follows-up on safety and quality related issues immediately and works towards resolution with collaborators + Actively participates in the EHS program by reporting all EHS-related concerns or problems immediately (maximum 24 hours) + Leads quality improvement initiatives to reduce Fab impacts and improve efficiency + Partners with collaborators to develop solutions to continuously improve critical metrics + Partners in data collection, gap analysis, and improvement implementation + Analyzes systems data to make critical decisions, improve performance, gain efficiency, and drive cost savings + Performs assessments of new construction to prevent negative impacts to normal facilities operations and manufacturing areas Minimum Qualifications + Relevant degree or appropriate certification with 5 years field experience + Excellent time-management, organization, and prioritization skills + Demonstrated ability to manage active projects simultaneously + Ability to communicate sophisticated analysis in a succinct and practical manner + Sophisticated PC skills including a familiarity with MS Office Word, Excel, and PPT Preferred Qualifications + 4 year degree in engineering or construction management with 5 years field experience or 10 years field trade experience in lieu of degree. + Ability to interpret schematic diagrams, 3D models, and other construction documents + Ability to communicate the relationship between use and design characteristics of all equipment in areas that may be affected by maintenance, operation and/or construction activities + Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, propose, and implement effective plans to improve overall efficiency + Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate efforts across a variety of groups As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
