In this role, you may be involved in many of the following activities: u2022 Apply missile guidance, navigation, and control expertise to modeling and simulation u2022 Integrate Matlab/Simulink models into a 6-DOF C++ simulation u2022 Develop high fidelity models and simulation software u2022 Develop new source code in C++ and Python u2022 Modify code in C++, C, Matlab, Simulink, Fortran, Python, Linux shell, and YAML u2022 Create unit tests u2022 Implement simulation software on a high performance computing cluster including Linux systems or VMs u2022 Work in an Agile DevOps environment with Docker/Container and Kubernetes deployment u2022 Collaborate with the performance critical thinkers, Flight Software team, and customer u2022 Signal and Data Processing - - - You can learn more about Lockheed Martinu2019s competitive and comprehensive benefits package by visiting this link. ( Basic Qualifications: Skill Requirements: u2022 Broad technical skills such as rigid body dynamics, control theory, and/or computer programming. u2022 Proven experience using Matlab and/or Simulink for simulations, analysis of feedback control systems, closed loop guidance, or navigation algorithms. u2022 Demonstrate strong math skills in the areas of linear algebra, matrix math, statistics, trigonometry, and/or coordinate transformation. u2022 Ability to clearly document analysis results in presentation slides and engineering memos u2022 Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. Security Clearance / Work Authorization: u2022 To meet requirements of the program/customer, this position requires the selected employee to be a U.S. Citizen. u2022 Qualified applicants must possess at minimum a currently Active Secret security clearance to be considered. u2022 Selected candidates will be required to maintain a minimum level, government issued Secret clearance for long term employment on this program. Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $82,900 - $146,165. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidateu2019s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $95,300 - $165,255.
