Come and experience your future Assignment: F 35 Systems Administrator located in Rovaniemi, Finland, in support of training operations benefiting the Finnish Air Force. The Systems Administrator will support the sustainment, maintenance, and operation of F 35 training system devices, with a long-term deployment to Rovaniemi, Finland. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, configuring, and supporting computer applications, as well as setting up and monitoring training computer networks. He/she will perform a variety of maintenance, evaluation, and training tasks to ensure the training computer network meets system requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the LockheedMartin training team to fulfill F 35 training objectives and will have experience working in an environment that requires interaction with multiple functional areas and personnel with different backgrounds and expertise. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: u2022 Interacting daily with users and LM leadership. u2022 System/database/software/firewall/account maintenance and monitoring. u2022 Maintaining smooth, secure operation of multiuser computer systems through coordination with peers, Tier2, and engineers. u2022 Laptop re imaging, troubleshooting, and account maintenance. u2022 Regular monitoring of systems/applications for availability and performance. u2022 Training IT administrators and users on the academic training systems as needed. u2022 Scheduling and leading installations, modifications, and maintenance of training systems. u2022 Supporting and coordinating verification and validation of installations and modifications to systems. u2022 Acquiring and submitting metrics for review, documenting system anomalies, and forwarding relevant data to appropriate organizations for analysis and resolution. u2022 Collaborating with other organizations to improve operational performance and configuring systems to operate within approved guidelines. u2022 Interfacing directly with customers and personnel to resolve u201cbreak/fixu201d issues, establish approved access to resources, and ensure system services are available to support daily academic operations. u2022 Ensuring compliance with all approved procedures and guidelines and supporting respective audits. This is not a telecommute position. The selected applicant may be required to work at deployed locations, work rotating shifts, and work more than 40hours per week. F-35 Fast Facts Basic Qualifications: u2022 Active DoD Secret clearance with a background investigation closure date within the last 5 years and be able to attain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access. u2022 Systems Administration Experience with activities in Windows Server 2019, Windows 10 administration, domain services, networking, antivirus, and application control. u2022 Active Directory Administration showing proficiency in managing user accounts and access control. u2022 Virtualization Technology with strong experience in VMware vSphere, ESXi, VMware Horizon. u2022 Network Services Administration involving DHCP, DNS, and direct customer support in an IT role. u2022 Demonstrated Experience in Troubleshooting showcasing the proven ability to troubleshoot complex information systems and resolve issues efficiently to minimize downtime. u2022 Flexibility in Work Hours with the requirement to work multiple shifts and support some weekend work. u2022 Security+ Certification requiring possession of a current certification or the ability to obtain it within 2 months from the date of hire as a condition of continued employment. Desired Skills: u2022 Experience working with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers is preferred. u2022 Ability to brief and teach technical information to both internal and external audiences. u2022 Ability to lead and mentor other team members. u2022 Previous experience working with the Finnish Air Force as a customer is desirable. u2022 VMware Professional Certification with demonstrated expertise in managing and configuring virtual environments. u2022 Networking certifications showcasing proficiency in networking technologies and best practices. u2022 Web applications and web server experience involving practical experience in deploying and managing web applications and web servers. u2022 Experience with F-35 Training Management System and Learning Management System indicating familiarity with these specific systems, which is highly beneficial for effective role performance.
