In this role, youu2019ll work hands-on with engineering, test labs, and customers to demonstrate compliance with FAA/EASA airworthiness requirements and help bring innovative lighting and control systems to market. This is a great opportunity for an engineer looking to grow their expertise in aircraft certification within a Tier 1 supplier / STC environment. u201cDue to employment eligibility requirements, we are unable to sponsor, assume sponsorship of, or support the transfer of any type of visa for this position. u201d What Youu2019ll Do: + Support certification planning and execution for aircraft lighting and control systems + Prepare compliance documentation, qualification test plans, procedures and reports + Coordinate environmental qualification testing (DO-160) and photometric performance Testing: u00a0u00a0u00a0u2022u00a0u00a0u00a0Contribute to system safety analyses and installation approvals u00a0u00a0u00a0u2022u00a0u00a0u00a0Work with engineering teams, suppliers, customers, and regulatory representatives u00a0u00a0u00a0u2022u00a0u00a0u00a0Participate in certification reviews, audits, and test events Requirements: + 3+ years of experience in aerospace, avionics, or regulated product development + Familiarity with FAA/EASA certification processes or compliance testing + Experience with lab or environmental testing (DO-160 or similar + Strong technical writing and organizational skillu00a0u00a0u00a0 + Ability to work collaboratively across teams Preferred Qualifications: u00a0u00a0u00a0u2022u00a0u00a0u00a0Experience with aircraft lighting or cabin/avionics systems u00a0u00a0u00a0u2022u00a0u00a0u00a0Exposure to DO-178C or DO-254 u00a0u00a0u00a0u2022u00a0u00a0u00a0Tier 1 supplier or STC certification experience Education: u00a0 Bacheloru2019s degree in aerospace, Electrical, Systems, Software, or related Engineering field required.
