What Youu2019ll Do (Day-to-Day Responsibilities) u00b7 Generate and maintain CNC programs utilizing NX-CAM or other software. This could include multi-axis milling, turning, grinding and/or EDM. u00b7 Verify new CNC programs prior to release on the shop floor utilizing Vericut. u00b7 Provide CNC related support to M.E. (Manufacturing Engineer) and provide operator training during new / rebuilt machine startup and / or process improvements. u00b7 Provide daily operator support in the form of CNC programming and troubleshooting support to the shop floor. u00b7 Support and implement tooling & fixturing requirements associated with CNC machine tools. u00b7 Generate and support workstation instructions (methods) for CNC related issues. u00b7 Initiate and lead process improvement projects to improve safety, quality, cost and delivery. u00b7 Provide effective communication to appropriate team members when needed. u00b7 Work effectively as an individual and in a team-based environment in a matrixed organization. u00b7 Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while embracing and driving positive change inside and outside the organization when appropriate.
