The Job: As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, youu2019ll be part of our Product Service Division working as an on-site employee.Youu2019ll get to: + Utilize your knowledge of SB&D shipping procedures to verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments at the Service Center. + Prepare items for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. + Identify and confirm shipment details against invoices, orders, and other records. + Unpack and inspect incoming shipments, reject damaged items, and record any shortages. + Communicate with shippers and customers to resolve issues related to damages and shortages. + Provide excellent customer service, including answering phones and assisting customers both at the counter and via phone. + Conduct customer sales and service transactions efficiently and professionally. + Strive to achieve Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) goals set for the center by the division. + Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment, adhering to prescribed safety regulations. + Interpret packing slips and accurately enter information into the computer system to acknowledge receipt of goods in the purchase order and processing database. + Assist at the front counter during CSR breaks and peak hours as needed. You also have: + The ability to work Monday through Friday full-time with additional hours as needed to meet customer demands + Preferably prior experience in shipping & receiving operations in a warehouse, retail, etc. environment + Adaptability in using various technological systems and familiarity with data entry and record-keeping systems + Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Operate with a high degree of integrity and accountability + Strong attention to detail The Person: You love to learn and grow and be acknowledged for your valuable contributions.
