About the PositionPond is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to join our Mechanical team at our Peachtree Corners headquarters. This role will primarily support DoD and commercial aviation fueling projects, while also contributing to work across multiple markets including oil & gas, power delivery, renewables, and utilities.The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in mechanical engineering design and be ready to take on increasing responsibility, working with moderate independence while collaborating closely with senior engineers and a multidisciplinary team. This position offers continued technical growth, exposure to complex fueling and energy systems, and opportunities to contribute meaningfully to project execution and client deliverables.You will work alongside mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural engineers, as well as architects, planners, and construction professionals, delivering integrated, full-service design solutions for clients worldwide.QualificationsBachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a strong foundation in applied engineering principles2-5 years of mechanical engineering or relevant internship experience, preferably in a consulting or design-focused environmentEIT certification preferredDemonstrated ability to support engineering design tasksStrong written and verbal communication skillsAuthorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipPreferred SkillsExperience supporting fueling system design for DoD facilities, military airfields, or commercial aviation terminalsWorking knowledge of piping systems, tanks, hydrant fueling systems, and related mechanical infrastructureFamiliarity with hydraulic analysis, system modeling, simulation, or stress analysisExperience preparing technical specifications, calculations, and engineering documentationAbility to coordinate with other disciplines and contribute to design reviews and project meetingsPlease Apply at:u00a0[
