Description We are looking for an accomplished Senior Trust & Estate Litigation Attorney to join our Trust & Estate Litigation team in San Jose, California. The ideal candidate will bring substantial expertise in trusts and estates litigation, along with a commitment to delivering exceptional counsel and representation to clients. This role offers an opportunity to work on complex cases while contributing to the growth and success of the firm's practice. Responsibilities: u2022 Provide expert legal representation in trust and estate litigation matters, including disputes involving undue influence, fraud, and lack of capacity. u2022 Advocate for clients in cases of financial elder abuse, ensuring their rights are protected. u2022 Handle trust and probate litigation, addressing issues such as breach of fiduciary duty, asset mismanagement, and co-trustee conflicts. u2022 Draft and review legal documents, including motions and briefs, with precision and attention to detail. u2022 Manage discovery processes, ensuring thorough preparation and analysis of case materials. u2022 Serve as a mentor and supervisor to associates, fostering their growth and ensuring high standards of legal practice. u2022 Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategies tailored to client needs and case objectives. u2022 Maintain a reputation for integrity and high standards within the legal community. u2022 Build and nurture client relationships, offering strategic advice and guidance on complex trust and estate issues. Requirements u2022 Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. u2022 Active membership in the State Bar of California. u2022 At least 8 years of experience specializing in trust and estate litigation. u2022 Demonstrated proficiency in civil litigation, including drafting motions, briefing, and discovery. u2022 Strong analytical and negotiation skills to effectively handle complex cases. u2022 Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, both written and oral. u2022 Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. u2022 Established reputation for ethical practice and collegiality among peers in the legal field.
