Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Staff Business Development Representative to support our Missile Products (MP) Business Unit, headquartered in Rocket City, WV . This position will be located in McLean, Virginia; Falls Church, Virginia; or Linthicum, Maryland . Job Summary This position will report to the Director of Strategy and Business Development for the MP Business Unit. The qualified applicant will lead business development, strategy, and capture activities across their assigned market areas, working closely with the cross-functional teams. Travel will be up to 33% Job Responsibilities: + Develop customer relationships with existing and new customers, including senior company and government agency leaders, to ensure products and company are well known and respected. + Lead coordination of MP Customer Focus Teams to increase effectiveness of customer engagement strategy plans + Create, maintain and execute a customer engagement strategy for assigned campaigns + Develop and execute new business strategies that align with the higher-level business strategic objectives. + Make strategic adjustments to the Business Development Plans as necessary to adapt to product updates and evolving customeru2019s interest. + Support Proposal Preparation, Review and Approval Process. + Regularly report to the companyu2019s Management Team the status of all major opportunities assigned, and the status toward achieving the awards plan. + Leverage our business capture process to drive growth into our Long Range Strategic Plan + Perform economic analyses on new or improved product opportunities and/or business models + Help maintain the accuracy of our Salesforce CRM tool within the process standards of the Northrop Grumman Business Acquisition Process (BAP) Put your skills to the test by pushing the boundaries of whatu2019s possible. Will consider those with a bacheloru2019s degree plus 12 years of experience or a masteru2019s degree plus 10 years of experience. + Eight (8) or more years of experience in capture management, business development, project/business/program management or engineering + Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a secret clearance. Preferred Qualifications: + Bacheloru2019s or higher degree strongly preferred + Domain expertise in US DoD Air and Missile defense programs (MDA, Navy, Army) + Understand the DoD & intelligence budgets and marketplace + Working knowledge of U.S. Government procurement policies and regulations + Active Secret Clearance Primary Level Salary Range: $0.00 - $0.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
