We are looking for a dynamic individual who functions as the point person and educator for of the Robotics Program for the facility.MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Nevada.- Current BLS certification.- Current ACLS certification.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:Provides support to the Department, Staff and physicians for the Robotics Program in the Operating Room. Assists in managing the Robotic surgery schedule. Assists with Orders and maintains Inventory as it pertains to the Robotic System. Maintains and updates OR/Hospital protocols related to robotic surgery. Reports quality data to the Robotics Steering Committee. Maintains a strong clinical presence. Oversees and advises the surgical robotic staff, participates in the evaluation and competency process of the robotic staff. Assists in the marketing process and the recruitment of physicians to the robotic program. Provides direct patient care to infant through geriatric patient populations. Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Communicates with surgeon and anesthesiologist continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with the maintenance of surgical equipment /inventory. Participates in performance improvement activities. Assesses operating room / procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness, obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of surgical operating team are met.
