We are committed to sound financial principles, building partnerships that foster teamwork, and striving for continuous improvement. u00a0We are dedicated to fairness, integrity, and respect.u00a0u00a0What We Offer:u00a0- Competitive compensation & benefits package, including quarterly bonuses u00a0- 401(k) w/ company matchu00a0- Medical, Dental, & Vision Insuranceu00a0- Company provided & Voluntary Life Insuranceu00a0- Short Term & Long-Term Disabilityu00a0- & MOREu00a0CDL Local Delivery Driver Job Summary:u00a0Drive company trucks and assist with loading/unloading materials to meet or exceed customer expectations by delivering a positive and professional customer experience.- Be familiar with the delivery territory and complete routes efficiently and accurately.- Maintain professional image as a representative of the company.- Assist in the unloading and loading of materials and shipmentsu00a0- Make timely deliveries while maintaining a friendly, helpful relationship with customers.- Secure all materials to prevent accidents, damage, and/or loss.- Use care in the handling of all materials, products, and equipment.- Accurately complete driver logs, including stops, hours of operation, and vehicle inspections.- Working knowledge and adhere to federal, state, local driving laws and DOT and FMCSA regulations, such as pre-trip inspections and driver logs.- Effectively use GPS, read maps, and follow directions.- Effectively use cell phone and hands-free equipment while driving.- Keep and use tarps on loads during poor weather conditions.- Maintain vehicle fluid levels, air pressures, and vehicle cleanliness inside and out.- Back up warehouse personnel- Work safely.u00a0Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: u00a0- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local driving laws.- Ability to drive safely and obey and adhere to applicable laws and regulations.- Effective communication, customer service, and stress management skills.- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations in a fast-paced environment.- Basic adding, subtracting, multiplication, and division skills with or without using a calculator.u00a0Education and/or Experience:- High school diploma or equivalent; or- Two years commercial driving experience; or- Equivalent combination of education and experience.- Background in Plumbing/Waterworks industry is desirable.u00a0Certifications and/or Licenses:- Valid CDL License - requirement of class A or B with acceptable driving record- Current DOT medical certificate- Ability to pass operator exam and drive powered industrial equipmentu00a0Physical Demands and Work Environment:The physical demands described here are representative of th
