SALARY: $45.00 per classhour contracted POSITION SUMMARY Northeast Wisconsin Technical Collegeis an innovative leading-edge college dedicated to student success.Part-Time faculty are an integral part of the College's staff, helpingus provide all learners with the highest quality learning opportunitieswhen, where and how they want it. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Responsible forplanning, preparing, and delivering instruction and assessment oflearning outcomes. Utilize engaging instructional strategies andmethodologies which foster student success both in and outside of theclassroom. Maintain accurate student records and communication. Adviseand support students as a mentor and role model in the achievement oftheir learning and career goals. This includes being accessible tostudents outside of scheduled classroom time. Provide educationalleadership and work effectively with faculty, administration, and campussupport staff. Maintain Faculty Quality Assurance System requirementsand licensure required by other agencies to maintain individual andprogram accreditation. Comply with College policies and practicesrelated to instruction, assessment, and delivery. Additional duties andresponsibilities will be discussed as needs arise. Additional Duties andResponsibilities: Maintain surveying lab and equipment. Calibrating andconfiguring total stations and GNSS receivers. Obtain continuingeducation to maintain Professional Land Surveyor licensure. OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND WORKEXPERIENCE An Associates Degree in Civil Engineering Technology orrelated field Five years direct occupational experience. At a minimum,occupational experience has to have occurred at least 1 year within thelast 5 years. One year of related occupational experience may be waivedif the occupational instructor has at least 2 years of post-secondaryteaching experience in the appropriate occupational field within thelast 5 years. Registered Land Surveyor in the State of Wisconsin. A goodworking knowledge with Global Positioning equipment, Total Stations,Robotic Total Stations, Automatic Levels, Digital Levels and DataCollectors. Past experience in supervising several surveying crews.Experienced in performing boundary surveys, subdivision plats, certifiedsurvey maps and construction layout. Experienced in working withcomputer software such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Access,Trimble Business Center, and other related software. Able to walk 2miles per day supervising students and be able to lift 50lbs. PreferredQualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Land Surveying Previous teachingexperience with adult learners is preferred An active FAA Part 107 SmallUAS license or the ability to obtain one. Be an active proctor the NSPSCertified Survey Technician Exam or the ability to become one. Activemember of the Wisconsin Society of Land Surveyors (WSLS) or the abilityto become one. Visual andAuditory: Ability to read documents and communicate effectively withstudents and staff. Light Lifting: Capability to lift and carrymaterials weighing up to 25 pounds.
