GHD has anexciting opportunity for a motivated Graduate Scientist/EngineerProfessional - Food & Ag Process to join our property and buildingsteam. The position will be located in Green Bay, WI. An entry-levelprofessional in the field of Research and Development. Uses professionalconcepts to resolve problems of limited scope and complexity. Limited orno prior experience in this role. Working with an energeticand high performing team, this position offers a variety of work andwill see you involved in: Document Preparation: Organize and preparecomplex documents using a variety of applications for technologydevices, such as standard office software. Also responsible forgathering and summarizing data for special reports. Data Collectionand Analysis: Produce accurate reports for others by collecting datafrom a variety of standard sources and inputting it into standardformats. Client & Customer Management (External): Help seniorcolleagues manage client and customer relationships by using relevantsales or client systems. Project Management: Support others bycarrying out a range of project management activities. Health,Safety, and Environment: Follow the organization's health, safety, andenvironment (HSE) policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions toidentify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to the well-being ofself and others in the workplace; instruct the team in safe workingmethods; identify instances of risky behaviors within the team and takeappropriate action, escalating serious issues as appropriate. Simulation and Modeling: Engage in the design and development of complexsimulations or models to optimize designs or predict risks. Samplingand Testing: Collect a range of samples for laboratory testing andundertake testing in accordance with statutory frameworks and bestpractice to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Community ofPractice Management: Participate in a community of practice in a definedarea of expertise or consulting to begin to build own expertise. Solutions Analysis: Interpret data and identify possible volves navigating a wide variety of processes, procedures, andprecedents. Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities byparticipating in assessment and development planning activities as wellas formal and informal training and coaching. Develop and maintain anunderstanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industrybest practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, andreading specialist media. Insights and Reporting: Contribute to thepreparation of various data and analytics reports. FeasibilityStudies: Contribute to and support feasibility studies from atechnological and organizational perspective, and document findings. Bid Solicitation/Request for Proposal/Tender Preparation: Gatherinformation and resources to assist in drafting requests for bidsolicitation requests for proposal (RFP) and requests for tender (RFT)on the requester side.
