Our CRNAs currently cross cover 2 facilities: UPMC Leader Surgical Center (LSC) which at the Memorial Hospital campus and UPMC Specialty Care York Endoscopy Center (YEC) which is at another location in York. We are hiring an experienced CRNA for a hospital-employed opportunity with our Leader Ambulatory Surgery Center in York, PA. This position does not perform trauma or OB. + Great Schedule: Day surgery only. No nights, weekends or call. + Access to Technology: We use the Fabias GS and EPIC. Job Qualifications: + Education: Graduate of an accredited CRNA program. Knowledgeable regarding controlled substance policies in accordance with Federal and State laws required. Master's degree preferred. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania required. Board Certified, Recertified or eligible by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists required. CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.AHA-approved ACLS/PALS certifications as required by institution of employ upon hire. + Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) + Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) + Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) + Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) + Registered Nurse (RN) + Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal + Act 33 with renewal + Act 34 with renewal + Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state. Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
