This position will involve applying fundamental engineering and scientific techniques to real-world problems in failure analysis, combustion, wildfire, risk mitigation and product development.You will be responsible forAnalyzing and distilling complex dataPerforming laboratory experiments and analytical or computational modelingReviewing and understanding experiments and simulations performed by clientsResearching and parsing data from published literatureConducting risk assessmentsPreparing written reports, proposals, and presentationsManaging projects and maintaining efficiency under deadlinesMost assignments will require the ability to gather information from and convey technical conclusions to individuals in engineering, the legal profession, business and industryPerforming field inspections, investigations and experimentsYou will have the following skills and qualificationsPh.D. in Aero-Astro, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical, Nuclear, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field, with a practical and theoretical understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and combustionPresently legally authorized to work in the United States.
