Description Citizens is seeking a Strategy Associate to support the Unsecured Lending business within the Unsecured Lending Business Performance & Strategic Planning team. This role partners directly with the Head of Strategic Planning & Business Performance and the Unsecured Lending leadership team to drive business prioritization, strategic planning, and performance management. The Strategy Associate will play a handsu2011on role in shaping nearu2011term decisions and longeru2011term strategy by providing structured analysis, executiveu2011ready insights, and clear strategic recommendations. This is a highu2011visibility role with regular interaction with senior leaders and broad exposure across Consumer, Risk, Finance, Analytics, Technology, and Enterprise Strategy teams. This position is wellu2011suited for high-performing individuals looking to deepen their strategic skillset, build subject matter expertise in a lending product line, directly contribute to the transformation of a strategic business, while expanding executive exposure. Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Performance + Support quarterly and annual prioritization and strategic planning routines for the Unsecured Lending business + Assist in the development and maintenance of multiu2011year strategic roadmaps aligned to business objectives and investment priorities + Deliver and maintain a comprehensive view of business performance, translating financial and operational results into insights and actions Business & Portfolio Strategy + Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities and optimize portfolio performance + Partner with Unsecured Lending leadership to diagnose issues, evaluate options, and develop strategies that drive profitable growth + Conduct focused analyses across products, channels, customer segments, and pricing to inform decisionu2011making Executive Communication + Own the development and facilitation of executiveu2011level presentations, including monthly strategy and performance updates + Synthesize complex analysis into clear, concise materials for senior management and, as needed, the Board Strategic Initiatives + Lead or support crossu2011functional strategic initiatives spanning multiple functions or business units + Drive structured problemu2011solving on highu2011priority, ambiguous topics + Support adu2011hoc strategic projects as assigned Enterprise Collaboration + Work closely with Product, Credit Risk, Enterprise Strategy, and Finance partners as needed + Contribute to business line strategy efforts with a focus on driving outcomes through ideation, effective challenge, and data-driven insights Qualifications Required Skills & Experience + 2u20135 years of relevant experience in strategy, management consulting, corporate development, analytics, fintech, or product roles + Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills with the ability to independently build executiveu2011ready materials + Demonstrated ability to apply structured thinking and quantitative analysis to complex business problems + Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence engaging senior leaders + Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fastu2011paced environment + Selfu2011starter with intellectual curiosity, strong judgment, and a bias toward action + Proven ability to collaborate and influence across functions Education + Bacheloru2019s Degree required Hours and Work Schedule Hours per Week: 40 Work Schedule - Monday-Friday - 4 days in office Some job boards have started using jobseeker-reported data to estimate salary ranges for roles.
