This job was posted by : For moreinformation, please see: Industries CorporationJob DescriptionJob Title: CNC MachinistDepartment: CNCReports To: CNC and Programming ManagerFLSA Status: Non-exemptReview Date: 04/17/2025Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assignor reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.SUMMARY:Under the supervision of the department manager, machinist isresponsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining 3 and 4 axismachines and other equipment to produce quality products on time.Promotes and utilizes standard safety practices.ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to performeach essential duty satisfactorily.Will run 3 and 4 axis machinesWill blend and deburr own parts as neededDoes own setups and may assist others with set-upsChecks first part to ensure quality before getting a QA first part buyMaintains clear and concise communication with all supervision verballyand handwritten tie in notes at the machinesMaintain daily part run averages located inside each set-up bookMaintain a clean work station including cleaning the inside and outsideof machines at end of shiftSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:NoneEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS:Minimum of 1-year experience in CNC 3 and 4 axis machines.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:The knowledge, skills and abilities described here are representative ofthose that must be met by an employee to successfully perform theessential functions of this job.
