Join our growing team supporting customer missions as a Systems Engineer in Herndon, Virginia.Required Qualifications: We are actively seeking a Software Development Engineer who will develop new automation capabilities that utilize infrastructure as code best practices and establishes a continuous integration /continuous delivery pipeline. Qualified applicants must have at least sixteen (16) years related experience and a Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree..NETC Sharp (C#)Demonstrated experience with cloud environments services such as AWS or AzureSubstantial experience with Dev Ops practices and tools to include release management, orchestration and code repository tools such as Jira, Github, or Jenkins.Proven experience with using various scripting language to create final product per stakeholder requirementsExperience architecting, implementing, or maintaining solutions in the sponsor cloud environmentDemonstrated experience documenting concepts of operations and standards of practice for tiered maintenance supportAbility to test and deploy custom infrastructure as code using various DevOps tools such as: Jenkins, GitHub Ansible, PowerShellProven ability to work senior leadershipMust be able to deliver weekly status to leadership by specified deadlinesDesired Qualifications:Certifications: Microsoft Certified Engineer, Microsoft Certified Architect, CISSP, CISM, Security+, CEH, GSEC, or Cloud Security certifications (e.g., AWS Security, Azure Security Engineer)Experience working in air-gapped environments or with classified systemsExperience with Agile methodologies and working in sprint-based development cyclesFamiliarity with security in CI/CD pipelines and container security (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Knowledge of zero trust architecture and identity/access management strategiesSecurity Tools: Splunk, Rapid 7Operating Systems: Windows Server, RHEL/CentOS, UbuntuCompliance Tools: Rapid 7, Greenlight, IlluminateCloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCPAutomation/Scripting: PowerShell, Python, Bash, AnsibleDevSecOps: Jenkins, Git, Docker, KubernetesStrong analytical and troubleshooting skillsExcellent communication and documentation abilitiesSelf-starter with ability to manage multiple tasksBCore is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
