Markon is seeking an Expert Systems Engineer / Policy Developer to support a technical development program enabling the Sponsor’s Entitlement Programs and Identity & Access Management (IdAM/ICAM) capabilities, including Authentication, Authorization, Attributes, Entitlement Management, and Digital Policy Management.This role works closely with a large team of developers, software engineers, and data engineers to support the development, implementation, and operational success of mission-critical systems and policies. The ideal candidate brings strong systems engineering fundamentals, hands-on Linux experience, and expertise supporting secure, cloud-enabled environmentsSupport system buildouts, testing, maintenance, monitoring, and operational readinessEnsure designs align with system architecture and allocated technical requirementsAnalyze and address user requirements, procedures, and operational issues to automate and improve system performancePerform systems engineering analysis activities including:Functional analysisTimeline analysisCost estimationRequirements allocationInterface definition and integration studiesIdentify system integrity risks and develop solutions across the full system lifecycle (concept through disposal)Integrate systems, services, and supporting components into operational environmentsSummarize results and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholdersSupport the development, documentation, and execution of system policiesProvide release management support, including deployment readiness, coordination, and executionActive TS/SCI with PolygraphBachelor’s degree with 12+ years of relevant experienceExperience supporting AWS / Cloud environmentsExperience providing Linux system administrationStrong customer support and stakeholder engagement skillsExperience with Release Management (deployment readiness, coordination, and execution activities)Experience with IdAM / ICAM delivery systems, including:AuthenticationAuthorizationAttributesEntitlement ManagementDigital Policy ManagementExperience supporting security accreditation processesExperience with Puppet (Bash preferred)USD $170,000.00 - USD $210,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
