Unless specifically stated otherwise, this role is 'On-Site' at the location detailed in the job post.What you will do-As a Procurement Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in operating and managing the procurement portfolio of suppliers to support the strategic growth and investments to deliver new and replacement manufacturing capacity. This leader should have a strong capability to manage complex business accounts and relationships that support Clarios business growth. The manager will need to analyze and leverage an array of technical and financial data to inform and drive improvement in these key supplier account relationships, develop forward-looking demand curves, and inform supplierâs own business strategies. You will have the opportunity to manage our global and regional partners across the supplier landscape in supporting the companyâs growth plans and objectives. In this position, you will collaborate closely with many different functions as you represent the procurement team as the project lead to support all needs for the project. This role reports directly to the Sr. Director Enterprise Sourcing at our Milwaukee HeadquartersHow you will do it-, â Create and drive Project sourcing strategies for assigned projects globally that align with the Regional Sourcing teams.â Ensure project sourcing objectives, actions and priorities are aligned both with key stakeholders.â Procurement of all capex and supplies needed to bring manufacturing capacity online (systems, sub-systems, equipment, and spare parts) and services (consulting, engineering and planning) for the assigned specialist areas or investment projects.â Plays a key role in supporting the drafting of the capital approval that will ultimately be approved by leadership.â Plan, lead and execute negotiations of commercial terms and contracting for supply agreements as needed within projects.â Drive awareness of supply issues within the project, clarifying business impact and lead resolution plans.â Interact with Engineering and Operations teams to develop project statement of requirementsâ Drive cost improvement, savings, below market costs, and extended payment terms that drive free trade working capitalâ Monitor and engage needed services for installation and ongoing maintenance and supportâ Drive the CapEx bid and award process including RFQ development and timing to meet program requirements in coordination with all the regional procurement teams.â Participate in development projects related to CapEx purchases, IT implementation and operational efficiencies projectsâ Monitor and evaluate supplier relationships and ensure the highest quality and technology available in conjunction with competitive prices and industry standard terms and conditionsâ Work closely with Project Management to monitor supplier performance metrics and actively participate in the tracking and reporting of said metrics to drive supplier accountability.,
