Description Robert Half is looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with experience in the Construction sector. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. If interested, call 818.884.3888 to schedule your interview. u2022 Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting u2022 Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements u2022 Perform cost accounting functions, including analyzing manufacturing costs and variances, and providing insights to improve cost efficiency u2022 Manage inventory accounting processes, including valuation, reconciliation, and inventory control u2022 Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department managers to develop accurate projections u2022 Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders u2022 Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial guidance u2022 Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing training and support as needed u2022 Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by management Requirements u2022 Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred u2022 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus in the construction industry. u2022 Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements u2022 Experience with cost accounting principles and techniques u2022 Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills u2022 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights u2022 Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to producing high-quality work u2022 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams u2022 Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment u2022 Supervisory experience preferred, with a track record of mentoring and developing staff Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
