Senior Cloud Security Engineer (Remote)

Job Description Weu2019re looking for a seasoned Cloud Security Engineer with strong DevSecOps experience to join the cybersecurity team at a leading financial and wealth management firm. This role is critical in embedding security into our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring secure, compliant deployments across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Youu2019ll collaborate closely with cybersecurity leadership, cloud and platform engineering, and development teams to design and implement secure DevOps practices aligned with both regulatory and business needs. This is a 12-month, fully remote engagement open to all U.S. time zones, though flexibility in working hours is required. Key Responsibilities: u2022u2003Develop Cloud Security Runbooks (aka blueprints) for sanctioned cloud services such as S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.. u2022u2003Design and implement Cloud Security preventive and detective guardrails using CSPM (Cloud Security Posture Management). u2022u2003Design and implement security controls CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Harness, and GitHub. u2022u2003Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation. u2022u2003Integrate security controls and automated testing into the software development lifecycle (SDLC). u2022u2003Collaborate with cloud engineers to ensure secure deployment and configuration of services in AWS and Azure. u2022u2003Write and maintain automation scripts in Python to support security monitoring, compliance, and remediation. u2022u2003Conduct security reviews, and vulnerability assessments of cloud services and cloud-native applications. u2022u2003Monitor and respond to security events and alerts related to cloud infrastructure and DevOps pipelines. u2022u2003Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and compliance requirements relevant to financial services.
