SMT Quality Inspector

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a SMT Quality Inspector to join their team. As a SMT Quality Inspector, you will be part of the Manufacturing department supporting Surface Mount Assembly processes. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: SMT Quality Inspector Location: Milpitas, CA Pay Range: Shift: Day Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) What's the Job? + Perform inspection of Surface Mount components and assemblies to ensure quality standards are met. + Utilize measurement tools such as multi-meters and smart tweezers to verify component specifications. + Read and interpret BOMs and assembly drawings for accurate inspection processes. + Scan board data into the DGS system accurately and efficiently. + Stop the production line if quality issues are identified to prevent defective products from progressing. What's Needed? + High School Education or equivalent. + Minimum two yearsu2019 inspection experience of surface mount and through-hole printed circuit boards. + Experience using DMM (digital multimeter) and ability to interpret readings. + Ability to read and understand work instructions, BOMs, and assembly drawings. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy.
