Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is working with our client in Bradenton, Florida to hire an LPN for their facility This role is in-person/onsite. Type: Full time, direct offer with client Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm - no weekends or holidays Pay: $26.00 to $31.00 an hour, based on experience Responsibilities of the LPN + Responsible for providing vital signs, interviewing the patient/family, and charting + Collaborates with healthcare providers in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluatingthe needs of the patients and peers + Maintains positive effective communication with providers, supervisors, and peers + Ensures Provideru2019s orders are directed to the various appropriate departments + Knowledgeable and assist Providers as requested with exams, procedures, removal of sutures, etc. + Completes medication and DME authorizations for patients in a timely manner + Knowledgeable in walk-in triage and interventions regarding patients' age under the leadership of the Clinical Nurse Leader + Knowledgeable regarding all medical forms (PE, work excuses, proof of pregnancy, etc.) + Knowledgeable regarding patient-specific reports and logs + Demonstrates knowledge of ordered medications and immunizations and their appropriate route of administration + Adheres to the medication administration policy + Triage patients and provide appropriate clinical advice via phone and correctly document in the patientu2019s chart + Perform EKGs during triage as needed + Meets all lab requirements and is knowledgeable regarding lab processing procedures and phlebotomy + Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications of the LPN + Active and good standing LPN license in Florida + Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute + One year plus of LPN experience + Must be able to float to alternative locations as instructed by your supervisor with short notice to ensure adequate site coverage IMPORTANT: This LPN role is being recruited for by Adeccou2019s Healthcare & Life Sciences division, not your local Adecco Branch Office.
