Responsibilities: + Review job orders and technical drawings to determine setup requirements for CNC machines. + Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials according to specifications. + Load CNC programs and verify accuracy before initiating production runs. + Perform precise machine adjustments, including offsets and tool changes, to maintain tight tolerances. + Conduct first-piece inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments. Required Qualifications & Experience: Experience & Skills: u00b7 1u20135 years of experience in CNC machine setup and operation. u00b7 Proficiency in setting up CNC machines, including tooling, offsets, and program loading. u00b7 Strong understanding of CNC prints and ability to maintain tolerances to .000. u00b7 Familiarity with machine controls, troubleshooting, and optimizing setups for efficiency. u00b7 Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Education: u00b7 High school diploma, GED, or trade school experience preferred. Technical & Language Skills: u00b7 Ability to read and comprehend setup sheets, technical drawings, and CNC programs. u00b7 Effective verbal and written communication skills for documenting setups and communicating with team members. u00b7 Skilled in using hand tools and shop equipment for adjustments and maintenance.
