Now Hiring: School-Based Psychologist u2014 Comstock, MI Openings: 1 In-Person Start Date: ASAP Pay Rate: Starting at $70/hr (Willing to go higher based on experience) Schedule: ~33 hours/week M-F Contract Length: Remainder of school year with option to renew for next school year Position Description The School Psychologist provides on-site psychological services for elementary students, focusing primarily on evaluations to determine eligibility for additional support services. This role supports a variety of mental health and developmental needs and works within state and district guidelines. Key Responsibilities + Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments. + Interpret evaluation data and prepare clear, actionable eligibility reports aligned with state and district standards. + Collaborate with school teams to support identification of student needs and services as required by state regulations. + Maintain accurate, timely documentation and adhere to professional standards of practice. + Provide on-site services in compliance with district policies and state requirements. Minimum Qualifications + Credential: Active School Psychologist Certificate or credential in the state of Michigan (required). + Education: Masteru2019s degree in Psychology or School Psychology preferred. + Experience: Prior experience with pediatric and adolescent populations preferred; elementary experience a plus. + Current State licensure/certification in assignment state. + Current CPR (if applicable). + TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable). + Current health certificate (as required by contract or state regulation). + Meets all federal, state, and local requirements. + Must be at least 18 years of age. + Professional Standards: Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
