CAD Drafter

Description We are looking for a motivated CAD Drafter to join our team in Gainesville, Georgia. In this Contract to permanent position, you will work closely with experienced professionals to create accurate and detailed engineering drawings, primarily focusing on telecommunications design. This role offers the opportunity to develop your skills in a collaborative and fast-paced environment while contributing to a variety of projects. Responsibilities: u2022 Develop and finalize detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD or similar design software. u2022 Incorporate company branding and logos into all technical designs to ensure consistency. u2022 Modify and update existing plans based on client requirements and specifications. u2022 Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and high-quality deliverables. u2022 Review client documents and plans related to low voltage systems for project preparation. u2022 Perform administrative tasks such as document verification, project tracking, and data gathering. u2022 Communicate with internal teams and clients to clarify design requirements and project expectations. u2022 Manage multiple assignments with varying deadlines while maintaining attention to detail. u2022 Provide support to estimators and the administrative manager by handling overflow tasks. Requirements u2022 Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or similar design software; entry-level experience is acceptable. u2022 Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities. u2022 Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. u2022 Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced setting. u2022 Onsite availability in Gainesville, Georgia; remote work is not offered. u2022 Previous experience in telecommunications or estimating is beneficial but not mandatory. u2022 Familiarity with 3D modeling, rendering, and design tools such as SolidWorks and 3D Studio Max is a plus.
