Description The Program Coordinator duties are organizing, coordinating, and planning operational facets of a program and its related activities which include, but are not limited to the following: establishing long-term operational objectives, researching factors that may impact the success of the program, and working with individuals or groups to research and document program requirements in order to provide appropriate input into the development of strategic plans. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: + Develops work plans to accomplish program goals and objectives and monitors progress toward their achievement. + Conducts research and gathers information to develop various publications. + Develops promotional materials which may include content for reports, briefings, newsletters, grants or other written information related to the program. + Assists in developing and coordinating program-related conferences, conventions, or meetings. + Monitors expenditures and may participate in the budget planning process and prepare financial reports. + May assist in identifying funding resources and developing fund-raising strategies and initiatives. + Prepares operational and statistical reports. + Conducts training, represents the program at meetings and conferences, and networks with affiliated groups. May supervise assigned project staff, interns and/or volunteers. + Performs related responsibilities as required. ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS: Assessment + Oversight of assessment activities for School of Medicine MD program. + Generate exams for course directors and faculty for the MD program. + ExamSoft, Gradescope, NBME, and Aquifer liaison for faculty, staff, and students. + Manage processes related to Tableau resources. + Responsible for developing/designing assessment dashboard across MD curriculum. + Serve as co-administrator for Service Now ticket system with Educational Analyst. + Manage processes related to tracking assessments across the MD program, grades compliance, data management, and communicates updates and deadlines for assessments/grading. + Responsible for systematic collection of data, data analysis/management, and data display tools. + Support course directors, faculty, staff, and students during student assessment. + Collaborate with IT to ensure that examinations and assessments are organized and administered efficiently. + Coordinates with IT tech support for technical and operational assistance related to end-user testing events by ensuring the training environment is up to date with current functionality. + Schedule rooms for assessments and create/distribute assessment schedule. + USMLE Step Score Tracking for MD program. + Manage processes related to Scholar Tableau resources. + Recruiting of graders and managing grading process. + Process assessment related expenses, payments, and payroll. Program Evaluation and System Administrator Back-up + Serve as back-up for maintaining the schoolu2019s calendaring platform for the MD program. + Back-up for the Service Now Ticket System. + Serve as back-up for Program Evaluation. + Works closely with the Medical Education Deans and Evaluations & Assessment Team to ensure close alignment of evaluations and assessment with the curriculum as it continues to evolve. Curriculum Committee Staff Member u2013 Student Assessment + Committee support for the Student Assessment subcommittee of the Executive Curriculum Committee. + Coordinate logistics and documentation of the Student Assessment subcommittee activities. + Will be a non-voting member of the Student Assessment subcommittee. Other Duties As a member of the medical education team within the Office of Medical Education and Student Affairs (OMESA), this position will assist in coordinating and working in events such as: + White Coat Ceremony + Orientation + Medical Education Day + Research Day + Match Day + Graduation + Other events, as necessary MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: + Bachelor's degree in a field related to the program. + Two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: + Experience with web-based applications and databases. + Experience with educational program evaluation and student assessment. + Experience utilizing a web-based evaluation and assessment system. + The successful candidate will have supervisory skills, excellent written/oral communication and outstandingcollaborative and interpersonal skills. + The successful candidate will also be well organized, able to function independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and possess excellent computer skills. + A high level of professionalism and initiative is required, along with the ability to interact comfortably with individuals at all levels within and outside of the organization. NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University location as needed and at times, on short notice.
