SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, and managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse in an accurate and timely manner. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned: u00b7 Quality inspects, receives, and processes all good receipts from replenishment purchase orders using barcode technology. u00b7 Manages logical and physical storage bin locations for service parts using warehouse management system and barcode technology. u00b7 Engages in performing physical inventory and cycle counting using barcode technology. u00b7 Receives, processes, and distributes parcels/packages to internal team members. u00b7 Recommends and supports continuous operational improvements. u00b7 Maintains and supports a safe and clean work environment. u00b7 Effectively communicates and engages with internal and external customers. u00b7 May assist with picking, packing and shipping of mission critical service parts to B2B customers as needed. u00b7 Performs other work-related duties as assigned. u00b7 Complies with the company's policies and procedures. u00b7 Incorporates ASB corporate principles and values. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED; or one to two years related warehouse/facility maintenance experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with machine parts warehouse operation is preferred. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: u00b7 Possession of the following competencies in technical knowledge, critical thinking skills, communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. u00b7 Professional, outgoing, and customer service oriented. u00b7 Remain calm and professional in stressful situations. u00b7 Friendly, courteous, service-oriented, and flexible and enjoy working with a variety of staff. u00b7 Detail-oriented and work effectively under pressure while meeting all applicable deadlines. u00b7 Must be able to work independently and productively with minimum supervision; able to manage multiple projects. u00b7 Recognize problems, identify possible causes and resolve routine problems. u00b7 Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external organizations, groups, team members and individuals. u00b7 Forklift operation.
